Deep Fried Turkey Notes

Instructions

Oil Temp: 375F

Oil Temp if just Parts: 325F

Time: 3-4 minutes per pound

Turkey Size: 18lbs or less is best for 94qt size pot

Oil: Approximately 4.5 Gallons of peanut oil for 19.5lb turkey. The max for the 94qt pot size. Fill pot with water while turkey is in the pot to determine where the oil will cover the turkey. Remove turkey and that water height will be the oil fill height.

Meat Temp Doneness: 175-180F for dark meat. 165-170F for white meat.

Pot is a Gas One 94qt Turkey fry pot.
