Teriyaki Sauce

  • 1C. Soy Sauce
  • 1C. Mirin
  • 1C. Rice Vinegar (or Apple Cider Vinegar)
  • 5Tbsp Sugar (or Brown Sugar or Honey)
  • 1tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1Tbsp Corn Starch

Instructions

In a small bowl mix the corn starch with about 3 Tbsp of water and set aside.

Combine all the other ingredients in a pan or pot and bring up to near boil. Keep heat low for a simmer and to reduce the sauce some. About 20minutes.

Add the cornstarch slurry and let simmer till sauce is thick enough to coat your spoon. Stir often.

If you like it sweeter add some more of your chosen sweetener or mix them.
