Broccoli Cheddar Soup

  • ½ Onion
  • 5 Garlic Cloves
  • 3 Carrots
  • 3C. Broccoli
  • ½Stick Butter
  • 1tsp Salt
  • 1tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1tsp Paprika
  • 1Pinch Thyme
  • 4Tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • 2C. Chicken Stock
  • 2C. Cream
  • 2C. Cheddar Cheese Shredded

Instructions

Shred the carrots. Mince the garlic cloves. Dice the onion.

Melt the butter in medium high heat and sauté the onions till fragrant. Add the minced garlic, salt, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir a couple times then add the flour. Stir till flour is integrated and add the chicken stock. Set heat to low and cover for about 5minutes.

Add broccoli, carrots, and cream. Let simmer for 15minutes.

Add cheese and add any salt and pepper to taste. If you want more cheesy flavor another cup will work. Do not let boil after cheese is added.
